What is sugaring? Sugaring is a hair-removal technique, similar to waxing, but it is all-natural and a much gentler experience than traditional waxing. Technicians use a special paste made out sugar, lemon juice, and water that keeps the hair intact down to the root as it is removed, as opposed to waxing, which may break off 15 to 30 percent of the hair at the surface of the skin. With sugaring’s more gentle process, hair grows back slower and softer. What is in the sugaring paste?
